Workshops “Escalade on the castle”

This is a series of workshops on medieval miniature painting which I began. The subject matter is related to knighthood , manor, and life in palaces and castles of medieval Europe.

We meet in a small group and work according to medieval techniques of book painting, using miniatures from different manuscripts as a model. The workshops are open to both beginners and first-time painters.

So far, workshops have been held in June 2017 in the Ducal Castle in Oleśnica and in June 2018 in the Ducal Tower in Siedlęcin.

Inspired by the workshops, the exhibition Ladies and Knights was born, which was first shown in Siedlęcin in the summer of 2018.
