Workshops in schools

I organize calligraphy lessons  and other workshops in schools (also in ENGLISH)

Classes usually last 2 hours and are designed for different age groups, starting from primary school.

The classes are an opportunity to get to know the workshop of the medieval scribe. Children try their hand at writing with a goose quill and get to know the basic concepts connected with medieval manuscript book. Writing is a great exercise to develop a child’s hand and can turn into a passion for beautiful writing!

Proposed classes:

Calligraphy—SCRIBE’S WORKSHOP—learning to write with a nib dipped in ink. Writing with a goose quill. During the workshop, children learn the letters from one of the hands of medieval writing

Illuminations—ILUMINATOR’S WORKSHOP—painting initials modelled on medieval originals

Bookbinding—BOOK IN GIRDLE BINDING—making a small booklet in girdle binding

Workshop price—PLN 20 zl per child

Bookbinding classes—PLN 25 zl per child

If it is necessary to travel to the school, the cost of the instructor’s travel must be added.
