Classes usually last 2 hours and are designed for different age groups, starting from primary school.<\/p>\n
The classes are an opportunity to get to know the workshop of the medieval scribe. Children try their hand at writing with a goose quill and get to know the basic concepts connected with medieval manuscript book. Writing is a great exercise to develop a child’s hand and can turn into a passion for beautiful writing!<\/p>\n

Calligraphy\u2014SCRIBE’S WORKSHOP\u2014learning to write with a nib dipped in ink. Writing with a goose quill. During the workshop, children learn the letters from one of the hands of medieval writing<\/p>\n

Illuminations\u2014ILUMINATOR’S WORKSHOP\u2014painting initials modelled on medieval originals<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Bookbinding\u2014BOOK IN GIRDLE BINDING\u2014making a small booklet in girdle binding<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n

If it is necessary to travel to the school, the cost of the instructor\u2019s travel must be added.<\/p>\n
